In a post made almost 8 months ago titled "Just Speak My Truth" I met a girl in the gym and we had a fairly instant connection. While talking to her, I just spoke my truth, even though I felt the mental barriers, and usual nervousness. The truth I told her was really my standards in life, my preferences: respect, honesty. But the way I said it was very direct and that was the main thing.

This is more of an observational report, of what’s been on my mind, thinking of words of wisdom passed on to me by others. I’ve just been noticing that whenever I talk or think about game there are a few general concepts or tips of advice others have given which, I frequently refer to or have noticed them making a big effect in general. I just felt like sharing some of them. Most of these are really general, and familiar to all of you, for some reason, they didn’t effect me until I heard it from these people.

So I've been sick and bedridden for the past four days, just kind of looking back at my interactions within the last week. And studying up a lot.

Now I know this most likely isn't an issue for most of you, but it was and still kind of is one for me, and that's approaching the HB's that I'm really attracted to. The ones where I'd normally say, no that's way too good for me.

I am re-reading "Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle. I must say, I missed so much of this the first time around. Now, after being immersed in multiple flavors of spirituality, from "Conversations with God", "Autobiography of a Yogi", to even "The Fountainhead" I came back to Power of Now with greater focus.

I had another blog before this one, but I've decided to reset the Nintendo and kick off with a fresh start. I'm now officially going to be active with this blog along with my other one at http://quick-adventures.blogspot.com.

I want to start off by explaining what my blogs are about, they're in no way about me giving advice, or in any way targeted towards other people, it's more like a catalogue of my experiences and things I am learning along my own journey, if anyone is able to take anything from it that's great if not, and you decide to read, I hope enjoy.
